Terms
Okay, so you've selected an animal - or animals - that you would like to add to your collection, now what? First, email me and let me know which animal(s) you would like. Also, send your zipcode so I can determine actual shipping costs. I'll let you know whether the animals you want are still available and give you a total that will include shipping.
Payment
The preferred method of payment is through PayPal. I will also accept money orders, cashier's checks or personal checks (subject to check clearance). Checks should be made out to Nancy Wheat. Payment must be made in full before any animals will be shipped. Please do not send cash through the mail!
Placing Animals on Hold
I will hold an animal for 24 hours without a deposit. If you place an animal on hold and then do not purchase that animal for whatever reason, animals will not be held for you in the future. A non-refundable 50% deposit will hold the animals for 2 weeks. If you can't accept shipment of an animal immediately - for example you are heading out of town or you are waiting for a rack -I will hold an animal for up to two months with full non-refundable payment.
Shipping
I like to arrange shipping dates as soon as possible. I will ship primarily using FedEx or UPS. I am a certified FedEx shipper. I will be doing much of my shipping through Ship Your Reptiles. Prices will vary depending on your location. Please be sure to include your zipcode if you are asking for a shipping quote. I reserve the right to delay shipping based on weather conditions. You must be home to accept delivery of your animals on the first delivery attempt! If you are not there for the first delivery attempt, there will be NO REFUNDS in the event of a problem. Be aware that many drivers will just leave the box without ringing the bell. Other times, they may take the package away again if you don't answer quickly - be awake, available, and alert when you are expecting animals! Delivery should occur prior to 10:30 am, but some areas are only guaranteed for noon or even end of day delivery. Delivery may occur at any time before (or even after) the target time. YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE! Please contact me as soon as the animal arrives.
Guarantees
All animals will be healthy and feeding well when I send them to you, unless otherwise indicated. I will not knowingly send you an animal that has any physical deformity without disclosing it. I will guarantee live delivery assuming that the carrier has delivered the animal on time and that someone was home to sign for the package. Again, please check your door often so you know right away that your animal has arrived! If you don't contact me immediately (within the hour) after delivery, I will assume you were not there to accept the package and all guarantees will be void. I am not responsible for carrier related tragedies. If the unthinkable happens and your animal has not survived the trip, please take a photo and freeze the animal.
